Enough of the siege mentality! If Park Service smokies want to play 'gated community,' creating their own Disney World, why don't they pick on Fort Mifflin. I used to get a chill and a thrill when, before 9/11, I walked under the arches at Independence Mall. Now, I only feel disgust as I make my way around its heavily-armed 'wardens.'
