Barnes' Foundation

The Barnes Foundation, to open on the Benjamin Parkway, is making headway. When completed next year, the new facility will house the museum's stellar collection of Impressionist paintings. The functions of the foundation, including its landscaping and art history instruction, will remain in sububurban Lower Merion, where Dr. Albert Barnes first located the instituition.
