Thinking across state lines, I would say it's the resort, entertainment city of Atlantic City, [New Jersey] where gambling already exists and where it is a natural fit. True, revenues from gambling in Atlantic City don't line Pennsylvania coffers, but some of the State of New Jersey share of Atlantic City gambling dollars, if effectively targeted, would solve some of Camden's problems, and a better Camden [New Jersey] will make a better Philadelphia region. Let's think regionally. |
