Art Institute Expands to New Wing

The Modern Wing, the Art Institute of Chicago's first expansion in decades, opened earlier this year, attached to the orginial building's north-east side. The place, now designated as the museum's venue for modern European painting (including English practioners) still has 'a new car smell.'
