Ben Franklin in Paris: What's Left

Paris.
Actually nothing, according to Junto staff writer/photographer Gary Lee Kraut. Kraut reports that unlike Philadelphia, Franklin's hometown, and London, where he spent many years, there is no physical presence extant of Ben's dipolmatic soujourn in Paris. He does get recognised by this street, in the 16th arrondisement, which now includes Passy, then a town, now a neighbourhood where he lived. Can you detect where the sign is wrong? Of course, Dr. Franklin was never a physician, as the sign states. His honorific 'Dr' was a consequence of his work as a scientist and 'philosopher.' It was a courtesy title. (Incidentally, the street sign isn't awkwardly positioned as shown. That's a website glitch that we're trying to fix).
