O'Hara Society Will Tour
Author's Study at Penn State

The John O'Hara Society, an international organisation that celebrates the life and works of the Pennsylvania author John O'Hara, will tour his reconstructed study, now housed at Pensylvania State University, University Park, PA.

The tour, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 1 pm Monday, November 15. Tea and drinks will follow.

O'Hara's study, donated to the university by the author's family in 1974, four years after the Master's death, is housed the the Rare Books Room of the Pattee Library. Those attending can plan to meet there, or make other arrangements by contacting Richard Carreno, the Society's corresponding secretary via JohnOHaraSoc@yahoo.com.

Overnight accomodations are available at the Nittany Lion Inn (814-865-8500), or at the Quality Inn (814-234-1600).

Shared car-pooling from Philadelphia might be available if enough interest is expressed.
