Homeland Security Stupidity Department

Be Afraid,
Be Very Afraid

Taking photographs of buildings. Getting inside info. Taking notes. Making maps.

Sort of sounds like Journalism 101.

But not to Philadelphia's Police Department's Homeland Security Intelligence Unit. Ominously -- shades of Soviet-style snitching -- the Unit is urging the public to 'Report It!' if they 'See It!' Of course, it all depends on the meaning of 'it.'

Looks like former PA Gov Tom Ridge -- W's first Homeland Security fear-miester -- is now spreading the fear closer to home. What's next. Coloured warning signs? Duct tape warnings?
