Poof! From Mr Black to Oh, Lord

Conrad Black, the disgraced newspaper proprietor, loves titles. But 'Mr' wasn't good enough for him in his native Canada.

Black has some good points. In fact, he's an insightful biographer, chronicling so far the lives of FDR and Richard Nixon.

His dark side clouds a dominate personality of bully and egomaniac.

It was that part of his psyche that Tony Blair appealed to when he offered Black the suck-up title of 'Lord Black.'

Now Black has a newer title, thanks to a Chicago-based federal court. Convicted of skulduggery in operating his media empire -- once embracing the Chicago Sun Times to the Daily Telegraph -- Conman mi lord is now Convict Black.
