RALPH J. CARRENO, 72

MARSHFIELD -- Ralph J. Carreno, 72, a retired business executive, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Brigham and Women's Hospital from complications attributed to acute leukemia.

He leaves his wife of 20 years, Susan Young de Carreno; a son from his first marriage, Richard Carreno of Philadelphia, formerly of Worcester; a daughter from his first marriage; a brother; and five grandchildren. A second brother died earlier this year.

Mr. Carreno worked for many years for the American Steel Export, New York.
